World Food Day

World Food Day is October 16, and observance is as important as ever. As reported last month, the United Nations reported that nearly one billion people in the world are suffering from the effects of undernourishment, a subset of which is severe acute malnutrition – the illness we treat with MANA (a Ready-to-Use Therapeutic Food (RUTF)).

MANA is making great progress toward our goal to manufacture and distribute our RUTF product. RUTF is considered a “miracle product” – 95% success rate – when it comes to treating severe acute malnutrition, or the abject wasting and stunting among children around the world.

This year, MANA will be at the World Food Day Conference in Des Moines, Iowa. If you’re planning to attend, we invite you to visit our booth in the exhibit area to talk with us about MANA. See you there!
