President Obama, G8 and African leaders, businesses, international organizations, and civil society will come together today at the G8 Summit to begin a four day discussion on the advancement of global agricultural development, food, and nutrition security in Africa. President Obama is expected to announce at least $3 billion in private sector funding in order to strengthen the fight against hunger in developing countries.
